MYSTERY BLOOMS

I spotted these lovely flowers in my mothers garden this evening and thought they would make a nice blip for Flower Friday. Unfortunately, not being a gardener, I haven't a clue what they are. Suggestions welcome.

Apologies for not blipping or commenting for a few days but things have been a bit hectic. I took part in the Scottish Parliamentary Election yesterday by issuing ballot papers to the voters. There was a bit of preparation work before hand and a full day yesterday from 6:30am until after 10pm. However, it is quite satisfying having played a part in our democratic election.
