Grebes

This pair of  great crested grebes (Podiceps cristatus) were busy building a nest amongst the roots of these willows.  Difficult to photograph them in action - too dark and too many twigs and branches in front.  A couple with a dog walked a little to close to them and they left their chores and moved out into clearer view.  New problem - sunshine too strong and their white feathers have totally burnt out.
Oh well, best I got today.
