Train of thought

Perth station is a regular haunt, but I only noticed this for the first time this week as I waited for yet another choochoo.

Painted by kids of various ages from local schools it was a great, colourful tableau but I couldn't help think how dull and pedestrian our trains are now, compared to the splendour of my grandfather's time. (Mind you, he was with Great Western Railways all his working life, and they had Isambard the Magnificent!)
