Helston Flora Day.

After such a lovely week of fine weather it had to rain today.the early morning dance is at 7am then Hal_an_Tow pagent at 8.30am.the rain eased by the time the children danced at 10am.four schools take part each with their own colour hair garlands.our grandsons stepdaughter was dancing for the first time.our son inlaw and two nephews and their wives were in the midday dance.i just took a few photos has i wanted to record the dances for my brother who  wasn't well enough to go .it is taken over a year for him to get over glandular fever.he was so happy that i had recorded both sons that were in the midday dance for the first time.our son inlaw always dance with the same partner that he danced with when they were in the same school.many carry on that tredition.
