We wanted some wild garlic for a goats cheese and wild garlic filo pie that W is going to make tomorrow. Fellow Blipper Nicoiseannie had told me about a wood where it grew so we went over there for a walk this morning. We were not disappointed; masses of the stuff growing throughout the wood and as you can imagine, the aroma was glorious. Having picked a carrier-bag full we had more than was needed for the pie, so some wild garlic soup will also be on the menu. Or more likely, in the freezer.

My 'Bluebells' blip from Thursday has continued to attract attention and is now sitting on the front page of 'Popular'. I'd better not let all this fame go to my head!
