This charming lady

from Tinos, near Mykonos, runs The Real Greek cafe in Paddington Street. She was the third generous person I met today - which started with a bus driver waving me on as I fumbled for a card to pay, followed by a nice caterer who gave platefuls of uneaten sandwiches from a Philosophy Day School to my Technology students.

We swapped notes about the books we are reading, and the state of play in Greece. Survivable but not much fun, she felt. And would not let me pay for my coffee. So of course I will be back.
