An early summer night's dream.....

....come true at last! 

We've seen several Shakespeare productions in the theatre in Stratford-Upon-Avon, I've acted in one when at school, but I've never been to The Globe here in London!

It was BRILLIANT! A very modern production of A Midsummer Night's Dream and so much fun and laughter all evening. Thoroughly recommended! 

 Up to London early to enjoy the evening sunshine and the walk from Embankment, where we ate, over Waterloo Bridge and along Southbank to the theatre was so good. MANY MANY others also enjoying the start of the weekend and the promise of one with rising temperatures. Definitely one of my most favourite places!

Our first experience of Blackfriars Station for the journey home, and very smart it is too. Watched the station clock change to 00:00 ....a very magical hour!

Extra shows The Globe after the production; now empty, but behind me, along by the river, the night was just beginning for many! Very exciting!
