River to Sea

Today Gina and I joined about 300 other cyclists for the 27th River to Sea Bike Ride.  It goes from the Cape Fear River in Wilmington to Wrightsville Beach (actually about a half mile from the Atlantic).  It was a beautiful day with perfect weather, cool at start and perfect on the return trip where each participant was greeted with ice cream.  Twenty miles back and forth at a leisurely pace.  This shot shows the gathering on Front Street just before the start.
