Starry Starry Night

130 photos, between 1am and 2.30am, and this is the result (with just a few breaks where the cloud rolled past). At 1am there was actually an aurora visible, just above the never disappearing orange glow of twilight, but by 2.30am the twilight was strong enough to have driven the green away, and so the star stacking, which takes the brightest spot for each pixel, reflects that light more. So the aurora is an extra.

So many stars visible, and just the second night in the two weeks that they've come out.

The drive home was without incident. The arrival in 'civilisation' not that welcome, save for seeing the cat and the chooks. Just need to make the most of the days until it's back to work on Tuesday.
