Battery hens

Fresh start for these lucky girls that arrived this afternoon all the way from a McDonald owned Farm in Plymouth. Long journey but they seem fine. Just half the order arrived so we will have to wait till next month for the other half. Did a last check on them earlier to see if they d settled for the night and one had flown out over the fence, lol and was strutting around not wanting to go back in! Luckily the 2 cockerels had gone in the coop, think il clip their wings tomoz!:)
