I spy

George's homework was to make a Victorian toy, and he decided on a kaleidoscope. We followed the easy method described here - though afterwards, he thought "easy" was a bit of an exaggeration. 

While I could see what he meant, I had to point out that it had been a lot easier than precision-cutting mirrors.
