Ready to Depart

A couple of hours out today - a short drive up to the Battle of Bosworth area (Top down of course)!

We strolled down from the visitor centre to Shenton Station and waited for twenty minutes for the train to arrive - good job they don't have to pay late arrival compensation ;-)

I managed to get an almost clear platform with just the guard and one of of the platform staff as the train was about to leave. 

It was way too hot to go into the glass blowing centre there - I just took a couple of photos through the window - Not a place toe be working when its 26 degrees outside.

The extra shot is of the bluebells in Ambion Wood.
Many of the signs around the battlefield site have been relocated to line up with the recently discovered facts about the actual location of the main battle area.
