Sisters.

Today would have been the 92nd birthday of my dear Aunt Val who passed away last year. It feels really strange today not to be spending it with her, some of you may remember that she drove to Wales from Sussex to celebrate her 90th but last year she was chauffered,much to her annoyance!
This photo isn't dated but I suspect it was taken around 1931 when my mum (top right) would have been 13. Val is seated on the left next to her beloved sister Sheila and Joy is at the back.
I cherish so many wonderful memories of them all,specially mum of course and miss her gentle companionship.
