In the Avalanche Zone

Chamois tend to eat in areas that have been avalanched in the winter. The avalanches expose the plants and, because the snow has already come down, it is a safe area. This looks like a yearling with its mother. What a great walk this morning, up to Anzeindaz from Solalex walking on fairly solid snow, but the wind.... I was glad of many layers!
