Gathering

I really had difficulty choosing which photo to use today. The sun was out for a brief moment and the rain stopped. The world was busy with chippies, sparrows(mating) and the sweetest chickadee, with fancy footwork, gathering nesting materials. The ball filled with soft nest lining material was a very special gift from Kangazu and Wall when we had our blipmeet here a few weeks ago. The nesting ball is hugely popular with titmice as well.

The StorySlam final last evening was great, Greg was the not the winner, but he told a funny story about meeting HRH Princess Anne while he was at Queen Mary, University of London.
