Ice Cream

Espied this chappy giving his ice cream van a bit of a wash and brush up - before he went to ply his trade in St Ives

Mentioned this to both my children - when they visited with their families this afternoon

Their immediate response was - "Did the van play a tune?"

We'd told them - in years gone by - when we didn't want to buy them ice cream - that if a tune was played - it meant that van had run out of ice cream

They say the same to their children
