Petrolhead heaven

Another family-induced first: today found me at the London Motor Show in Battersea Park - this is the cleverly-lit main hall where all the cars glittered under s million light bulbs and lured the boys, big and small, to sit in drivers' seats and dream.

Not my usual milieu, but interesting nonetheless - especially in the first hour or so before the crowds arrived and made it impossible. And I did get to hear Bluebird's engines being started on the stroke of midday ...
