Morphine, Midazolam and music.

Dad is clinging on to life. He's comfortable and not distressed thanks to the drugs and the excellent care of the nurses. His breathing had changed since yesterday. I stayed with him for a while and played him some music, held his hand, kissed his forehead and told him how I feel about him. I didn't say goodbye though, because, if he could hear me, he might not know that he's going.
