In praise of common plants

Of the common wild flowers delighting us with their blooms right now, I think Germander Speedwell is one of my favourites. The rich blue flowers would surely be worthy competitors for bluebells if they were just a little bigger.

I had a delightful meeting with fellow Blipper Chantler68 today and showed her part of the nature reserve that is normally closed to the public.
