Wow...

Tried to capture the transit of mercury today, but you really have to use your imagination to spot it.
The small telescope is a bit elderly and can't focus as well as it used to, sounds familiar, so if you try you may be able to see a smudge that is a sunspot, but there is a tiny smaller smudge in the lower third that is actually mercury.
At least it was sunny all day for it
