walked up snowden and for once there wasnt a cloud shrouding the top. The views were stunning .you can see why why it is such a draw with visitors who walk/climb or ride to the top. the visitor centre at the top is marvellous too. the cold beer i had at the top to celebrate my birthday tasted delicious . then it was time to defend which felt harder on the knees.
Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales, at an elevation of 1,085 metres ( 3,560 ft) above sea level. we covered the 8.8 miles there and back in 3.75 hours
