Almost the view from my bed

Back blipped due to no internet access last night.

Set off early Saturday morning on our annual trip to Wales. Started off well with the car eating up the first 50 miles of a 600 mile trip. That was as good as the day got. Driving along the car suddenly lost power and we had to stop. Turns out the car had overheated. Anyway got going again and drove another 15 or so miles before stopping again. We nursed the car through the first 100 miles but then had to call up the AA who came along and managed to get us going again. That didn't last long, and we were frequently pulling off the road to cool down. Got to the stage after 12 hours in the car and only 230 miles down the road we pulled up in Kendal with the thought of abandoning the car and staying the night in a hotel, unfortunately everywhere was booked. It was beginning to look like we were gonna have to spend the night in the car, but luckily got it going again and managed to limp to Birmingham after 17 hours on the road.
