Wren Song

the wren soaks
my morning
with slippery water
sloshing songs
of liquid sound
sluiced through air
bubbling, interrupted
rumbling, rattling,
now rushing by
in bursting bouts
of temper tantrum
tongue lashed trills

For the Record,
This day came in with glorious sun and lovely spring temperatures. We could lose the black flies and it would be absolutely perfect.
