Contrasts

Red/Green -- The extremely productive red currant bush in our front garden, as seen in the glimpse above.

Lively/Quiet -- The grandchildren went home with their parents yesterday afternoon.

Sun/Rain -- The warm summer weather yesterday and the cool wet weather today.

Appealing/Bare -- The walls of the main floor and upstairs hallways, now bare of art ("art" includes maps of Washington and Oregon), as we are having them painted this week.
