Delightful Durham

Spent 6 hours today wandering around the lanes and riverbanks of Durham City.  It must be 50 years since I last did that (although I spend a lot of time popping in and out).  The weather was gorgeous, the temperature was just right, about 64c and we topped up on coffee and cream cakes and tried out a new burger bar too.  All in all, a lovely day.  Walked 5.5miles and my back ache has gone.  Amazing.

The Cathedral has had it's hat on for a few months now - badly needed repairs and the main thoroughfare into the City is also having a fix-up.  Welcome to Durham…
