The easels lined up and ready to do battle with the artists. One of the artists studios upstairs in the Fremantle Arts Centre. This place once resonated with the pitiful cries of the mentally insane and indeed was officially called the Lunatic Asylum.

Now it it is a vibrant community hub for visual arts, sculpture, photography, music and so on.
