Intimidation?

Well, not for Lizzie.  The only thing that intimidates her is an empty food dish.  Papa Goose tried anyway, while the kids scavenged the bird seed the red-winged blackbirds kicked out of the feeder.   The geese have banded together -- there are six adults herding 19 kids around now.  I don't know if that means there's a predator nearby or if they're just communal.  They make quite a picture as their group tours the apartment complex.  It looks as though they're all doing well, but one of the papas is limping.  I can't see any injury, but I hope he's okay.
Mr. Osprey was fishing again today.  He caught and carried off three fish on three trips.  It's so amazing to watch him circle around and then dive in for the kill.  Fascinating.
