One the flight back from a quick visa run to China, some Thai words floated through the air. The moment they hit my ears, a smile crossed my face. The required visa run every 90 days is a nice time to get away, but returning to the place where I can communicate farther than my hand motions got me in China is nice too.

Judging by her clothing, woman is from a northern hill-tribe. The sweet potatoes she is roasting are delicious. :)
