Poster for Abstract Thusday

Today's challenge: 'Create a poster event from nothing' set by our host youoregon1 with many thanks to him for making us use our creativity and the tools we have with us :-)

So, I have PS Elements 13 and made this poster in 7 steps, for the first 6 see the collage in the extra. Starting with a new blank file in portrait size, step 1, then adding the Sunset Sky filter from Styles (Effects), step 2, then cropping out Crop Shape 40  from the Custom Shape Tool, step 3, then adding the Type Text (Rosewood Standard Regular and Stencil Standard Bold), step 4, framing it with the Gradient Purple frame in Graphics, step 5, Posterising it in Filters/Adjustments, step 6 and finally do some more Poster Effects by Filters/Artistic/Poster Edges :-)
I did another one too just for fun, this one with grunge edges (extra brushes), an overlay with script and butterfly images,Type Text and gradient filters, see the other extra. Great harmless fun while D is working doing telephone conferences all day (still while on holiday!)
