Babysitting

Here is mummy duck and her brood of 11 ducklings, spotted today on Southampton University's stream. It's got to be quite a job looking after 11 offspring especially with foxes about. Hope they survive. Daddy duck was also there keeping an eye on them. My extra is of two mallards, probably a better photo but who can resist ducklings?
