The waiting room...

This afternoon I had an appointment with the neurologist at Middelheim hospital as a follow up after just over 6 months since I was struck down with myelitis.
I was last here in January and although I had already made a great progress then (as I could walk, cycle and teach again), today we could see some more progress. Especially my reflexes where much better! Unfortunately they have not been able to determine what cause the infection on my spine, so there is no way of telling if it would ever come back or not. However, I cannot live as if I can be paralysed again, I can only try and be as heathy as I can.
Next time I need to be here is in 6 months for the next check up.
