Tractor Thursday....

Spent the afternoon hauling heifers from the slatted shed out to grass. A few stoppages in between. Got a lift to the garage so I could collect the Jeep with it's new starter motor,while wee brother collected his Kia with new wheel bearings. Then Gary from McCaskies was in with prices for net wrap,silage film , mg lick tubs and an IBC of formalin . After coffee and a bit of friendly haggling he got an order for some of it .
Back to cattle and was starting to loose the will to live by the time I'd opened and shut 4 gates and rattled 4 km there and back each time.
Have just been chasing 2 cows and calves tonight after they decided they didn't like being in the field they were in. The pure limousin cow was at the stage of going through anything, so I left them where they were .
