The Colours of the Wind and Rain

The windy weather continues, along with the cold, and the occasional shower of rain, in my part of the world.

And look at what a shower of rain at 7 am this morning created ~ the full arc of a rainbow!

I've always wanted to blip a rainbow and this beauty lingered for about an hour, allowing plenty of opportunity to take more photos as the light of the new day changed, however I discovered that the slightly darker sky make the colours of the rainbow stand out more.

What a wonderful sight, to start the day with. :)
