Happy family

We've been watching the pair of geese that comes to our pond every year and sure enough, yesterday they had the babies out on display. The young ones followed mom around in the grass and in the water while dad kept a watch from the rear. The binoculars are now on the porch railing so we can take a peek from time to time. 

Today was another lovely day, the warmest yet. Rain is coming tomorrow and bringing chilly temps along with it.
