A blossoming flower - Alliums

Trip to Suffolk today and just got home. Took my camera but the weather was not great and I did not stop. In the garden where my Mum lives were these lovely flowers. I have given you two takes of these. As always I have no idea what they are called? Any help out there? My mum was ok today though a little quiet.

Looking forward to a quiet evening. Friends coming tomorrow which will be great, not seen them for some years. Then Sunday off to Taunton to watch some cricket, rain permitting.
