Moments

Not the best day today, torrential rain when we awoke and the cloud level with our balcony.
Yesterday was the first day in nearly 4 weeks where I wasn't aware of the headache, a sadly short lived respite as today it's back with a vengeance.
When the rain finally stopped we drove up to Le Plan de la Croix, the high meadow had obviously only just lost its snow, but already it was carpeted with just about to open crocus flowers - as with a lot of this part of the Alps about 4 weeks later than usual.
As we headed back, we got a glimpse of the high mountains, the Arete de Tricot looking menacing under the Dome du Goûter. It was gone almost before I could get little camera out, but I like this glimpse through the clouds.
