Summer and Boars

Summer is definitely coming, although this evening it has turned decidedly chilly!
We got the table, chairs and huge umbrella thingy out of the shed and started getting them ready for al fresco eating. A brush off was all they needed for the odd cobweb (that shed is brilliant) and Marlane did all of the chairs and the table in the photo with teak oil. Not an easy job by any means. I cleaned up the ones that had been at the allotment and been stuck in the garage for the past few months, they were pretty bad and need a coat of something after being rubbed down with some light sandpaper.

The extra photo is from our daughter Johanna, if I'd taken it I'd have probably used it as my blip.
It shows a Mummy Boar with some of her piglets. Wild Boar were introduced into the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, a few years ago. I don't know what they expected but they have, of course, exploded in population and becoming quite a problem. She comes across them quite often on her walks in the forest with Diesel, the fox red Labrador. The male Boar are quite huge animals and can be quite dangerous.
