Off down the flowery lane

Younger son leaves early for the train after a fleeting visit; less that 48 hours at home but enough to catch up with some friends, meet a journalism deadline, share a couple of meals and  see a live screening of the Young Vic production of A View from the Bridge  by Arthur Miller. It's back  in cinemas now and anyone who relishes a fine and  powerful theatrical experience shouldn't miss it.
