Sgwarnog: In the Field

Bradford Urban Wildlife Group's annual guided walk in search of our local Baildon Moor Green Hairstreaks saw four of us combing the bilberry patches on a chilly but occasionally sunny afternoon. It was not the best of days for butterflies, but we found seven, including this one perched on my shutter finger. Cue left handed camera fumbling shenanigans.

On my way up I'd had a close encounter with a deer, although not so close by the time I got my camera out and caught it bounding away (extras).

Looks like I need a manicure.
