Escape From Sector 7-G

Osprey

A trip up to the Loch of the Lowes, and the ospreys were giving a good show.
In the main blip, the female osprey, (yes, that little white dot) sitting on the nest, protecting her eggs. In the extra, the male osprey, flying around, scouting for food.

The hide we were in, had a couple of high powered scopes on the nest for close up images. The Scottish Wildlife Trust staff couldn't have been more friendly and informative.
We then took a 40 minute leisurely walk into Dunkeld for a late afternoon meal, walking it off on the way back.
Warm sunshine all the way...a fine day out.

The blips aren't the greatest, but I'm happy enough to catch an osprey on camera, however far away it might be.
