The Village Fete

Today was a perfect day for the village fete. This year it was held in the garden of The Old Rectory which stands in the shadow of St Bartholomew's Church. I really only go for the plant store but it's a wonderful way of catching up with people I want/need to see.

I bought some beautiful Iris plants...my favourite and also fellow blipper Anneli's husband John loves them too.

Off for birthday drinks with a friend...lovely end to the weekend.
