A view from St Swithin

Seaton Park

Had a walk at Seaton Park today - over in Old Aberdeen. Its changed a bit since the last time we were here: there is evidence of much flood damage along the Don from the deluge at New Year, some of the paths are being upgraded , and there is a natural lake forming at the east end of the park which I understand the Council are going to leave as a water feature . There was one swan having a paddle today and lots of gulls .
The best bit of the part is the wee garden at the North side which today was at its best with lots of azaleas and rhodys in bloom ( see extra blips ) . The main blip is the view to St Machars Cathedral at the south entrance of the park ..
Not much else happening today apart from catching up with season 4 of House of Cards .
