Summer!

So tough to pick one picture for today.

We started with a wander up to the Apple Store. It doesn't matter how many times I go, I'm like a kid in a sweet shop with the shininess of the place. Anyway, I wasn't there for me today, but to get Holly's MacBook checked over.  After a clean bill of health, we took the computer back to the flat, then headed out.

First up, The Arches, near Waverley Station and a cool selection of little shops, my favourite being a retro football shop. Then to the Royal Mile for lunch, followed by the Real Mary Kings Close. After an eventful tour, we went into the Princes Street Gardens to sit in the sun for a bit.

We followed that up with some ice cream from a place in the West End, before going to the Botanic Gardens to sit in the sun again.

After that, back to the flat via Tesco. I cooked Paella, which we had with Raspberry Gin and Prosecco, just in time for... Eurovision!! We got a bit excited by the UK's performance in the first half of the voting, before the rug got whipped out from under us with the public voting. (Europe hates us, but we don't care).

Fab day all round... if only we'd done better in Eurovision.
