New Passge

This is the site of an old ferry crossing over the Severn. Now very close to the new Severn Bridge. The old Severn Bridge service station can be seen at the left in the background. This ferry crossing was made redundant by the creation of the Severn railway tunnel in 1886, which runs very close to the line of the new bridge.
