Antonov AN 225 MRIYA

I have cheated a little today I'm afraid, i took my extra shots from the evening news on our TV screen tonight of this monstrous Russian Plane that flew into Perth Airport yesterday, we drove passed the Airport yesterday on our way to see Lucy but we couldn't get even close, people were walking 4klm from their vehicles just to get a glimpse, hundreds of people were around the viewing platform at the Airport.
Below is a clip from our newspaper...(well worthy of an entry in my journal)

Thousands of aviation enthusiasts are expected to travel to WA and pack vantage points at Perth Airport to witness the arrival and departure of the Ukraine-built Antonov An-225 Mriya.
The six-engine, 600 tonne plane, which once transported a Russian space shuttle on its roof, is headed for Perth  to touch down in mid-May.
The flight will be delivering a 117-tonne power generator from Prague for a WA resources company.
The aircraft, built in the 1980s, has twice the wing area of a Boeing 747 and can fly 4000 kilometres at a time before needing to refuel.
It will likely refuel in Europe and South East Asia before reaching Perth, according to Aviation WA.
