Go Tell It To The Trees

The trees are amazing just now. Here I'm looking up into the canopy of the huge horse chestnut in front of our house. I think it was this tree that made us come to live here.

I recently bought a beautiful book about leaves, which has 600 pages and a life-sized photo of a different tree leaf on each page. The introduction says that these 600 leaves represent 1% of the world's tree species.

And where would we be without trees?

Not the one you were expecting!  but I like it better :-)
