Day 137 King Alfred

Today was a quiet amble around Winchester with Sue. Such a photogenic city.  There are many photos of King Alfred's statute, but they are usually taken from the front, with the green of St Giles Hill in the background, so I took this side on view. 

He still looks good, and in this view you can see the name of the artist on the plinth
