It was good while it lasted ❤️

.......We spent our first night on the river moored up in Porto....7am the engines powered up and off we went ❤️ The weather wasn't good but we were all excited about our river cruise....!! By the time breakfast was being served we went through our first set of lock gates......Less than 4hrs after the start of our holiday adventure it ended when the river authorities closed the river due to dangerously high water levels further up stream......So disappointing.....!! the raising water levels and relentless torrential rain forecast all week, meant we were forced to spend the next 48hrs moored in the pouring rain.
