Chains

Normally when I go to the supermarket I have no cash with me. I stick my glasses on and put the bit of plastic in a secure pocket. That way I don't need to be bothered with a hand bag and all the problems that come with managing it plus the shopping trolley. If I remember I also take the reusable bags.
To my horror tonight I discovered that they have introduced the coin system in the trolleys. I won't remember a coin and I have had those charity coins on my key ring before but they end up breaking off!
Will I save money by just basket shopping or will I just end up being a basket case?
