A barrel of laughs......

Actually, for once, work isn't particularly amusing.

A couple of our favourite patients have died, and even though they were both well into their 80s, we'll miss seeing them every week.

On the other hand, we also see very new babies on a daily basis - and who could fail to be cheered up by that?

So we see life beginning, and ending on the same day, and it teaches you to enjoy every moment you have, because it's a gift we shouldn't waste.

There. Cheerful or what!
